Totally Tuesday ( A Tad Late)

Last week Emilie and I went to Target

and we bought some egg coloring fun things.

Tattoo Fun & Giltter Fun.

So on Tuesday night...

Emilie Ashley and I decorated eggs.

We had so much fun.

Funny (kinda) story behind this picture.

(Let's see if I can actually tell it over this.)

On Tuesday, I took Bucky on a walk down at the beach.

I thought it would be nice for the both of us.

We walked along the path in huntington.

We started at 9th street and went to 16th

(its about as far as bucky was feeling).

When we got back to the car I opened up the passenger door

to take off his leash and put in the car.

Bucky decided to hop in and sit in the drivers seat.

I thought..."Oh this is so cute Bucky."

He then would not get out of the seat.

I tried pulling on him.

Nothing worked.

Well, maybe treats would have.

but unfortunately I forgot to bring them with.

So I went to the drivers side and tried to get him out,

he decided to jump over the middle console

and hop into the back seat.

Which yeah...I was okay with.

I was backing out of the drivers side

and the wind blew my door really hard

and I didn't realize it until my hand...

was caught in the door.

Four of my fingers were slammed in the door.

Yeah...it hurt!!

My fingers may still be a little bruised.

But Buckman and I both enjoyed our walk...

thats the important part, right?

Here is a little shout out to my labbies (lab group).

We didn't have lab on monday.

(which I am okay with because its spring break,

yet I still missed them.)

Many things...

I am a little behind this week.

So here is a little catch up.

1. My dads birthday was on Monday.

He is the most amazing dad.

He is such a hard worker.

He is funny.

He loves his family.

He has a strong testimony of the gospel.

And I LOVE HIM! <3

2. Midterms are over (kinda).

I had a poly sci midterm.

American Lit midterm.

Bio midterm.

Psychology midterm is in 2 weeks.

I am so happy midterms are over.

It feels GREAT!

3. The weather has been beautiful.

And since it is-you know what that means...

BEACH!!!!!!

Time to work on my tan.

Thank you sun for shining.

4. iTunes gave me 20 free downloads recently.

There is one song in particular that I just LOVE right now.

Its a reggae song by MISHKA.

Called STAY BY MY SIDE.

If you have not heard it...I highly recommend listening to it.

5. SPRING BREAK!!!!

My spring break officially started yesterday.

I am so happy.

Monday I am babysitting for the majority of the day.

Tuesday-Saturday will be beach days.

Along with teaching piano every day.

Oh and some studying for psychology.

But mainly...Relaxation time!!

Cool as a Cucumber.

Since I know all of you have so many questions about cucumbers...

I AM HERE TO ANSWER THEM FOR YOU!

1. Feeling tired in the afternoon, put down the caffeinated soda and pick up a cucumber.

Cucumbers are a good source of B Vitamins and Carbohydrates that can

provide that quick pick-me-up that can last for hours.

2. Tired of your bathroom mirror fogging up after a shower?

Try rubbing a cucumber slice along the mirror, it will eliminate

the fog and provide a soothing, spa-like fragrance.

3. Looking to fight off that afternoon or evening snacking binge?

Cucumbers have been used for centuries and often used by European trappers,

traders and explores for quick meals to thwart off starvation.

4. Stressed out and don't have time for massage, facial or visit to the spa?

Cut up an entire cucumber and place it in a boiling pot of water, the chemicals and nutrients

slowly use it to erase the pen writing, also works great on crayons

and markers that the kids have used to decorate the walls!!

Pie Palooza.

Since yesterday was 3.14 day (PI day) I had some friends over

to celebrate this special occasion.

We had some delicious pies.

Some homemade and some bought.

Either way...they are still good.

We had strawberry, 2 banana creams, chocolate cream,

lemon meringue, and french apple.

Just how delicious do all of those look?

Terrific Talents.

Today went a little slow and I was not having the best day.

No specific reason at all...but it was just one of those days.

I was really hoping my students would do something to make me laugh.

And all four of my students did just that.

I just had to record two of my students doing something special for me.

These two girls are so adorable and always bring a smile to my face.

One of my favorite things in the world is....

I love peeps so much.

-For Easter my parents always put peeps in my Easter basket.

-I will buy peeps for all occasions (whenever they sell them).

-Heidi told me they had Valentines Day peeps.

(I couldn't find them)

-I cant eat a whole package in one sitting.

-I eat the chocolate eyes first.

-My friend once shoved a whole row (4 peeps) in my face.

(YES! I loved it...but had sugar all over my face...worth it!)

Random Rambling

Today I was thinking of random things about me.

Here is what I have come up with so far.

1. When I was a baby, I fell asleep in my spaghetti.

(maybe that is why i LOVE spaghetti now?)

2. When I was five, I cracked my head open.

(You could almost see my brain....not really.)

3. I love peeps.

4. I have seen wicked twice,

joseph and the technicolor dream coat, and stomp. (love them)

5. I teach piano, mainly to little munchkins (aka children)

6. I want to be a teacher "When I Grow Up". (Hopefully first grade)

7. I get obsessed with new things that i buy.

8. I am not a big reader. (don't ask me to read a book-especially if its long.)

9. I was in the spelling bee in 5th grade.

(i got out on exercise...who knew it wasnt spelled exCercise)

10. I get frustrated when teachers do not erase

every little thing on the board. (i want to run up there and erase it or comment.)

11. I love roses (especially receiving them)

12. I love disneyland.

13. I love to drive.

14. I love the names JETT and LUCY.

15. I am obsessed with chapstick...

(i put it on quite often, maybe too much?)
