CRV Baby

You might have heard that I got a new car....you heard RIGHT!!!! The new love of my life is my 2000 Honda CRV.  It is such a beauty.  My family and I are still trying to come up with an official name, so when we decide I will inform all.  Today was my first day of being able to drive it, and I just can't stop.  All I want to do is take people on rides.  I stopped at the Dahl's today, and they were so excited.  They all hopped in and were ready to go.  So I took them all for a ride (they had to take turns of course).  Want a ride?  She/he (don't know the gender yet) is a beauty.  Let me know if you think of a clever name.
I have now officially handed down the family car.  Good ol' Goldie!
I would like to thank the man behind this all....my father.  He found the car at his work and got a great deal on it.  He then spent his nights fixing it.  He would stay after work until 8 or 8:30 for about a week to get this fixed.  He is the most amazing father.  I cannot thank him enough.  I brought him lunch so many times, but nothing I do or give to him will equal what he has done for me.  I am so grateful for my dad.  I love my dad so much! <3>

Welcome to the Barlow Hair Salon.

A couple of nights ago I had the honor of babysitting the four little Barlow children.  They are all so adorable.  There is Brooklyn, Makenna, Zack, and baby Tanner.  I love that I was able to babysit them.  The girls love to do hair, so they started doing different hairstyles on me.  Here are the pictures of the different styles.  I think the first one is my favorite.  What do you think? Oh and they even put names to most of these.
No name.
No name.
The Jasmine.  (Jasmine's hair looks like this from Aladdin, apparently.)
The ponytail.
Two ponytails.
Let me know if you want an appointment with these girls, and I will get something set up.  I hope you enjoyed the many hairstyles of the Barlow Hair Salon.

Farewell Elder Kinney

This blog is a tribute to my dear friend Andrew Kinney.
He reports to the MTC (Missionary Training Center) on Wednesday, August 12, 2009.  He will be in the MTC until September, when he will then leave for the mission field: Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo East Mission.  Andrew and I have been such great friends for about five years now.  I will miss him but I want him to know how excited I am for him.  He is going to be one of the best missionaries that I know.  Here are some pictures to remember our fun times together.
Andrew, Alissa, Marissa, and I on his 19th Birthday.
Heidi, Andrew, and I at the Draper Temple Open House.
Hilary, Andrew, and I in Hawaii showing off out "tattoos."

GOOD LUCK ELDER KINNEY!!

These Friends of Mine

First Bloggggg

So this is officially my first blog.  I have been looking at other peoples blogs and they have inspired me to make my own blog.  I do not know how well I will do at keeping up with this, but we will just have to wait to see how it goes.

This first blog is going to be about So You Think You Can Dance (also known as: my favorite show).  On Tuesday I was able to attend the taping of Wednesday nights show with Dana, Sara, and Cristen.  We drove all the way to Hollywood and had the time of our lives.  So we may not have had the best seats, but it was still awesome.  Last night was the finale of this season.  This makes me so sad that it is over.  What ever will I do on my Wednesday and Thursday nights now?  The final four were Brandon, Kayla, Evan, and Jeanine.  I was really hoping that Kayla would win, but she got the fourth place. Then came Evan, then Brandon, and the WINNER is JEANINE!  Congratulations Jeanine!!  :)
Alright that is it for now.  Hopefully there will be more blogs to continue after this first one.  I have a list of things to write about, so this will keep me motivated.  I have been so excited the past few days to start a blog.  Thanks to all of those who have inspired me to do this.  :)
